Parkside Bakery

I used to live in this and recently came back for a visit. I was thrilled that the bakery was still running and has in fact expanded since I left. I had been having cravings for their meat and potato pies for a long, long time and they were just as delicious as I remember. They have lovely flaky pastry and are loaded with meat with good helpings of potato. I recommend getting them served hot, which just makes them all the more enjoyable. The bakery offers a number of other savoury goods, such as steak and kidney pies, cornish pasties and more. They also offer a great selection of baked goods, such as cream horns and eclairs. The staff were always pleasant and would be happy to do whatever was necessary to fill my order.I look forward to the next time I'm in Parkside so I can have get some more!
