Anglican Parish Church dating from 1189. The church is built on the site of an earlier 7th-century church founded by St Chad. The building contains the tombs of five Bishops of Lichfield, including Richard Sampson who oversaw the divorce of Henry VIII from Catherine of Aragon and the trial of Anne Boleyn. The church also has a selection of stone carvings from 680 AD
