Visit the world's only bere mill! Experience a rare glimpse into the past at Orkney’s last working watermill - the only place still producing traditional beremeal from Neolithic bere. Tour the historic mill, see the mighty waterwheel turn, enjoy free tasters, and browse the mill shop. Barony Mill is open May to September from 11.00am to 4.15pm with tours every 45 minutes until 3.30pm. Booked by phoning 01856 721439 on visiting our website. There are sometimes spare places, so it is worth calling in if you are passing, just in case.
