King's Head Inn
About
The King’s Head Inn is a 17th‑century four‑star country inn nestled in the picturesque village of Llangennith on the Gower Peninsula, England’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The collection of three historic buildings—Town House, the Pub, and two stone blocks—offer elegantly appointed rooms with under‑floor heating, plasma TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and full ensuite bathrooms. Guests can enjoy a pet‑friendly environment, complete with a dedicated dog area, dog menu, and treats in the pub. The inn’s on‑site bar showcases a wide selection of Welsh real ales, gins, and whiskies, while the breakfast menu delivers freshly cooked Welsh fare from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The pub is open 11 am to 11 pm Monday‑Saturday and 12 pm to 10:30 pm on Sunday, with all‑day food service until 9 pm (excluding Christmas). The King’s Head is an ideal base for exploring the soft‑sanded Rhossili Beach, historic St. Cenydd Church, and the broader Gower Peninsula’s walks and surf spots.
