Langland Bay
About
Langland Bay Beach is a popular family‑friendly destination on the north‑westerly coast of Swansea. It proudly holds both the Blue Flag and Seaside Awards, reflecting its commitment to cleanliness, safety and visitor amenities. The beach is surrounded by a scenic cliff‑top walk that leads to the neighbouring Caswell Bay, offering panoramic views of the Bristol Channel and a pleasant strolling route for walkers and cyclists alike. Vehicle access is convenient, with a dedicated car park approximately 100 m from the shoreline operated by Swansea Council. The site features accessible toilets, an outdoor shower, and several nearby food kiosks, ensuring that both the elderly and families with young children can enjoy a hassle‑free day out. At 2025 lifeguard patrol times are 10 AM to 6 PM from 3 May to 14 September, providing an added layer of safety for swimmers and surfers during the summer months. Dog owners will note a seasonal ban from 1 May to 30 September, but other visitors of all abilities will find Langland Bay welcoming and well‑equipped for a relaxed seaside experience.
