About
Llangennith Beach sits on the western edge of the Gower Peninsula, just half a mile from the village of Llangennith. It is a celebrated surf spot, drawing wave‑riders from across the UK thanks to its consistent swells that are fed by the Atlantic. The beach is owned in part by the National Trust and in part privately, offering both a pristine natural environment and well‑maintained facilities at nearby car parks, toilets and refreshments. Dogs are welcomed all year round, making it a perfect destination for pet‑friendly seaside adventures, though wheelchair access is limited and lifeguards are not present.
