Our award-winning museum restores, displays and operates buses that were once a popular sight on roads around Swansea and in regular use by public transport companies which served the population of South and West Wales. We're a go-to place for visitors to the Swansea Bay region and perform an educational role. The collection consists mainly of vehicles that ran under the banner of South Wales Transport and later First Cymru. Two London Transport Routemasters never fail to catch the eye either. We also house a fascinating selection of British and American cars, vans, Land Rovers and early commercial vehicles. Also in our custody are several vehicles and artefacts on long-term loan from Swansea Museum’s Collections Centre at Landore. From time to time the museum hosts specialist events covering many different forms of vehicles and transport.
