Three Cliffs Bay
About
Three Cliffs Bay sits on the rugged coastline of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales, a place of striking natural beauty and relaxed charm. The bay is framed by three limestone cliffs that rise about 20 metres high, giving the destination its iconic name. From the cliffs sandy shores stretch east to Pobbles Bay and west to Tor Bay, which are connected at low tide, offering rewarding walks across the sandy beach. The area has earned Blue Flag status, recognising its clean waters, quality facilities and strong environmental management. Dog‑friendly all year, the beach welcomes families, walkers and nature lovers, while its well‑defined cliff faces provide an accessible climbing venue with about twenty marked routes, including the popular “Scavenger” climb.
