The George changed hands in April 2022 and is now run by the experienced husband and wife team Roger and Emie. Both have had years of experience working within the hospitality sector, including at Michelin and Rosette restaurants, and are delighted to welcome locals, visitors, and dogs to the pub! Offering a range of classic British cuisine with a perpetually evolving seasonal menu, alongside drinks from the bar, you can choose to sit inside or dine outside in the beer garden (weather permitting!). There's also a Tuesday night takeaway option, and a range of special events throughout the year. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion - we offer bespoke menus for you and your guests. So, whether you want to pop in for lunch, an evening meal, a cheeky pint, or have a special occasion to celebrate with family and friends, you are all very welcome to our beautiful village pub.
