More than just a place to stay, the pods at East Quay offer a unique getaway experience. These five split-level pods, each with their own distinct themes, have far-reaching views either over the channel to Wales, to the Quantocks, or Exmoor. Designed for the adventurous traveller, these pods widen the choice for visitors coming to Watchet and the West Country. Pod 1: Object Exchange sleeps two, has a mini kitchen and stunning views to the harbour and Marina from its private balcony area on the first floor. With walls etched with stories of Watchet’s history, Pod 2: Stories & Imagination comes alive with possibility. It sleeps 4-6 people and has an accessible arrangement on the lower floor to allow for visitors with mobility impairment. The mezzanine level houses another bed, and there is also additional space for two camp beds if required. Pod 3: Industrial Heritage shines a spotlight on Watchet’s industrial past. With a bathtub on its mezzanine floor, this quirky pod has a ship’s ladder and a minimal kitchenette, suitable for two guests. Cocoon yourself in Pod 4: Playful Architecture and lie back on the cargo net across the mezzanine. A shower room, double bed, and a limited kitchen complete this pod as a great getaway base for 2-4 people. A clean white interior in Pod 5: Participatory Art provides a blank canvas for visiting artists or groups to create the artwork with an additional defined area for pod visitors to add their own designs.
