Pardlestone Farm
About
Pardlestone Farm offers self-catering cottages and B&B in Somerset's Quantock Hills, southern England's least known but most accessible unspoilt wilderness. Within walking distance of an award-winning pub and the spectacular Jurassic coast, it's an ideal base for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers. Guests are welcome to bring their own horses (there’s stabling and turnout), and the two cottages are also dog-friendly. Nearby are picture-perfect towns and villages, castles, harbours, gardens, stately homes and much more to explore. The Quantocks were the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and were the inspiration for the poets, Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth and the foundation of the Romantic Movement of English poetry. The Coleridge Way passes a few hundred metres from Pardlestone Farm and the Quantocks offer hours of off-road adventuring. The cliffs at nearby Kilve Beach are rich with fossils and designated an International Geoheritage Site.
