On our vineyard tours, guests have the chance to not only revel in the scenery but also to absorb our deep passion for wine. Both educational and exhilarating, you’ll discover the benefits of our precision management approach to viticulture and, depending on the season, may even sample some of the growing grapes. Each tour concludes with a wine tasting featuring a variety of Hencote award-winning wines. Wine Tours & Tastings are available Monday through Sunday, offering a range of options from self-guided cheese and wine pairings to fully immersing yourself in the Hencote experience with our wine and dine escapes. Hencote’s philosophy begins in the vineyard. We work every vine by hand to treat each vine individually with the sole aim of allowing the authentic expression of our wine within our Shropshire Terroir. By following a minimal pesticide programme our goal is to allow our vineyard to flourish within its natural environment that will produce our range of quality English wines.
