Lower Thura House is a traditional Caithness Stone house. All the rooms are large, with wonderful character features, The kitchen, has a wow factor when you walk in. It is warm and inviting, with a large farmhouse table, this is a special room with all original beams in the ceiling dating back to 1800 It is fully equipped with all the mods and cons. A conservatory is just off this kitchen where you can relax and enjoy the views of a well established garden with mature shrubs and huge lawn to walk around. The garden is enclosed by a dry stone and flagstone wall. The living room has an exposed Caithness Stone wall which has a wood burner set into it. This part of the house was built is 1880, and is two storey There are 2 sofas one is reclining, large flat screen TV There are 3 large bedrooms all with king size beds, one bedroom is on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs. All luxury linen and towels are provided. 2 xToilet /Shower/ bath. One ground floor and one upstairs. Utility room is large with a deep freeze, washing machine, tumbler dryer and clothes horse.
