Visit our welcome centre and gift shop located within our multi award-winning distillery overlooking the historic and picturesque Forss River and Crosskirk Bay. Situated a stone's throw away from the world renowned North Coast 500 route, North Point Distillery is the most northerly Rum distillery on the British mainland, producing a range of award-winning Rum and Gin spirits from the site of the former U.S Navy base in Forss, West Caithness by Thurso. Using a unique mix of contemporary and traditional production methods, North Point is one of the most sustainable distilleries in Scotland. Winner of the Gin Guide's award for sustainability in 2021, 2022, and 2023, North Point advocates responsible procurement, carbon-neutral production methods, and fully recycled and recyclable packaging for all our products.
