Formerly The Castle Arms, Our Hotel was originally a 19th. century coaching inn which has been updated and extended over the years. We have recently taken over The Mey Hotel and are in the process of renovating both the interior and exterior of the hotel whilst adding our own Scottish themes to the various rooms whilst maintaining the unique history of the building, Mey and the wider local area. Located on the famous NC500, only a stones throw away from the Queen Mothers highland residence the Castle of Mey, 7 miles from John O'Groats we are on the very North Coast of Scotland near to Dunnet Head with extensive views over the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Isles and beyond. Ideally positioned for access to 3 of the Orkney Ferry services currently operating. Offering good quality home cooked food alongside local beers and spirits all within comfortable surroundings. A 'Home from Home' whilst you pass through this lovely area of Scotland.
