Running from Easter to the end of October, unless prevented by heavy rain or high winds. The Castle Ferry is a much loved and long established short open boat trip from the town of Dartmouth to the mouth of the river and back, landing passengers at the Dartmouth Castle site. Boats run daily, on demand, from 10am to 5pm. (4pm in October) Go when you like and come back when you like! Pay on the boat,cash and cards accepted. Fares are £3.50 adults and £2.50 U14s - per trip. Take any boat, during busy periods upto 3 boats are running continually so wait time is usually a matter of minutes. Perfect little family boat ride!
