Overbecks Garden
About
Overbeck's Garden is a hidden subtropical oasis perched on the cliffs of Salcombe, Devon. The garden bursts with colourful foliage, rare tropical plants, and fragrant blossoms that thrive in the sheltered microclimate. Guests stroll along terraced paths that overlook the sparkling Salcombe Estuary, making it a haven for nature lovers, photographers, and dog‑walkers alike. The garden opens daily from 10:00‑17:00 (October 31 – March 2 it is closed), and all ages are welcome – children under five visit free of charge. Guided tours run every Wednesday at 2 pm, while the on‑site Coach House Kiosk offers light refreshments and a family‑friendly picnic area. With its panoramic sea views, sandy coastal walks, and a dedicated Silent Space for quiet reflection, Overbeck’s Garden offers a tranquil escape for individuals, families, and travelers seeking a blend of botanical wonder and natural beauty.
