The Elphin Tearooms, just 20 minutes north of Ullapool, serves tea, coffee and hot chocolate, plus cold drinks, and home made cakes, scones, soup, quiche and toasted sandwiches. We're happy to be able to include scones on this list having now found a recipe we are happy with, after much extensive testing and experimentation. We are currently open 5 days a week in the summer (staffing issues prevent 7 day opening), with reduced hours in the winter. We also host a small farmshop for The Green Bowl local food hub, with a range of locally produced meat, plus eggs, bread and veg when they're available. We're dog friendly, child friendly, wheelchair friendly, motorcycle/campervan/sports car/bicycle friendly (with a large, off-road carpark) and pride ourselves on our warm welcome and friendly atmosphere to everybody who comes to visit us. We always try to have gluten free and dairy free options available and do our best to cater for any allergies and intolerances.
