Welcome to our holiday home situated in the heart of Thurstonland, Holmfirth. The Old-Coop was converted from two houses to a shop in the early 1900's and then into one house at a later date. Still holding many of its original features, the house contains two stair cases, splitting the King size Master bedroom and single room to one side of the house, with two more king sized bedrooms at the other. The Old-Coop is ideal for walkers, cyclists, couples, families or anyone wanting to explore the lovely countryside around Holmfirth. Situated in amongst lovely green fields, Thurstonland is a historical village with a family and pet friendly pub, 1870's Church and village cricket ground in view of the bedrooms. Just a five minute drive from Holmfirth, you can explore the many sights and cafe's the old town has to offer. Take a 'Last of the summers wine' tour and spot all the landmarks, or stay around the centre and do some shopping, there's plenty to see in the picturesque town. Being dog owners ourselves, our four legged friends will always be welcome to stay! But please make sure dogs are well behaved and stay off the sofa's and beds.
