The Golden Pheasant is a rare and special pub with history, character and a warm welcome that offers award-winning cask ales and delicious seasonal home cooked food. Our 200-year-old wayside Inn has been family owned for 90 years and we've recently reopened following a major refurbishment. Set in the rural village of Plumley, our outstanding rural setting makes us a destination worth visiting. As well as offering a wide selection of cask ales, fine wines and great-tasting seasonal food, we also provide guest accommodation, with cosy, comfortable rooms that overlook the stunning Cheshire countryside. As well as being easy to reach by car, we are 5 minutes away from Plumley train station which has direct services to both the historic city of Chester and the busy cosmopolitan city of Manchester. Manchester Airport is also just 13 miles away
