Restaurateur Mike Robinson brings a traditional approach to contemporary British cooking. Our menu is a celebration of our passion for wild food. Marrying the refinement of century old techniques with the very best local ingredients, Bringing the outdoors in, we cook using the oldest method known to man, wood, charcoal and flame, with primarily oak and alder wood to lend a natural sweetness. Sustainability is the core of our message - we go to incredible lengths to ensure all our produce is grown or harvested humanely, carefully and with care. Our wild food offering is unique in the UK - as land managers we control wild deer herds on private estates and process the venison in our very own FSA regulated larder. Our amazing wood fired oven, cooks the A la Carte menu 6.00-9.30pm. On Sunday we offer our delicious Woodsman Sunday Lunch into the evening.
