Hive Beach
About
Hive Beach is a sheltered stretch of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, carved out of cliffs just north of the village of Burton Bradstock. The National Trust owns the cliff top and provides a small car‑park, making the beach easily reachable for family picnics, seaside strolls and tide‑watching excursions. Each year, the beach hosts the colourful Spring Tide Festival, with music, crafts and live demonstrations of medieval‑style clam‑harvesting. Visitors can enjoy rugged coastal scenery, clean sandy paths and the rhythmic pounding of the Atlantic waves against Jurassic rocks. The location is ideal for both relaxed day‑trippers and those seeking a quiet spot in nature.
