Sandworld Sculpture Park
About
Sand World is the United Kingdom’s only all‑weather sand sculpture festival, located in the scenic Lodmoor Country Park at Weymouth. Each year the festival opens on 5 April and runs until 9 November, welcoming visitors daily from 10:30 am until the final gate entry between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Artists from around the world craft towering sand masterpieces, ranging from mythological creatures to beloved pop‑culture icons, all created from local Weymouth sand and water. In addition to the awe‑inspiring displays, the park offers hands‑on workshops, a café, a gift shop, and dedicated spaces for children and wheelchairs, making it an ideal destination for families, school groups and sand art enthusiasts alike. The attended tickets are affordably priced, with special discounts for seniors, children, and large groups, and children under four enter free of charge.
