The Eight Kings is a double award-winning 19th Century pub situated in the heart of the village Southwell, Portland, within a twenty-minute walk from Portland Bill or ten minutes from Church Ope . We are a family run establishment who are passionate about delivering a personal, enjoyable and memorable experience when you visit us. We serve, locally sourced, freshly cooked food and thrive on welcoming everyone through our door. Dogs are especially welcome. We have a large beer garden with lots of seating complimented by abundant private off-road parking. In October 2021, the Eight Kings undertook an extensive refurbishment, including an increase of the restaurant space, new furniture and beautiful new exterior colour scheme. And more dog bowls!! The restaurant is spacious, inviting, and fresh. The bar is cosy and warm, especially when the open fire is lit. The Eight Kings is the ideal pub to warm up in the winter, or cool down in the summer. And we serve amazing home cooked food
