About
We are a traditional Lakeland hill farm located in Buttermere in the Lake District that is home to our High Stile pedigree livestock which include rare & native breed Royal Golden Guernsey goats, Bagot goats, Oxford Sandy & Black pigs, Herdwick sheep, Fell Pony herd, Kerry Hill sheep, Clun Forest sheep, South Country Cheviot sheep and heritage breed hens (Cream Legbar, Light Sussex, Buff Sussex & Speckled Sussex). We also have a team of ISDS registered working sheepdogs. We offer Lake District Shepherd Experiences, Goat Picnics, Farm Tours, Sheepdog Demonstrations & School/Group Trips. We are advocates and positive role models for a farming system working in harmony with a variety of strategies to address nature recovery and sustain the natural and cultural heritage of the local area.
