“Welcome to Gosforth Hall Inn” where you will find a warm welcome in a cosy pub, close to Scafell Pike and the Wasdale Valley. Home of some of the most breathtaking views in the Lake District and probably one of the best beer gardens in the UK. Features of the Hall include a selection of rooms ranging from 350 year old characterful bedrooms to the more contemporary bedrooms in the Annex. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, an iron and hairdryer. Looking to organise a family or friends get together? Check out our 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, each offering en-suite bedrooms, dining table, settee, TV, sink and fridge. There are no cooking facilities as we believe in helping you relax and include breakfast in the rate. You won’t be in the dog house with your furry buddy as they can stay with you in your room (Hall bedrooms excluded), the lounge, bar and beer garden. We will even have treats on hand for when they join you for breakfast and evening meal. For extra doggie points you could take them on some beautiful walks in the Wasdale and Eskdale valley, Seascale and Drigg beach or sit back and relax on the L’al Ratty Railway whilst taking in the Eskdale and Muncaster views. Electric car charging points are available on a first come first serve basis.
