Ian and Sarah welcome you to Rosegarth in tranquil Ravenglass, an ancient village dating back to the second century. It is built on the site of Glannaventa, a Roman fort and port, and is the only coastal village in the Lake District National Park, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We overlook a beautiful estuary and offer a friendly welcome, comfortable beds for a good nights sleep and a great breakfast to start the day. All our rooms are en-suite with good showers and most have Estuary Views. Rosegarth was originally the village doctors home and practice, and dates back to 1860. The building still retains many original features from the Victorian era. We are on the Cumbrian Coast railway line and only 2 minutes walk from the station. Walkers and cyclists are very welcome. We have clothes and boot drying facilities, and secure indoor storage for bicycles. We look forward to welcoming you.
