This Victorian property is a former laird's house with an Iron Age Broch structure in the grounds. Just 5 miles from Wick and on the North Coast 500 route.We are only a few miles from the ferry to Orkney and the Castle of Mey which was the Queen Mother's summer residence We have two friendly dogs and welcome guests house trained dogs You can enjoy walks around the grounds and the surrounding woodland, and there are several lochs and hills close by. There is easy access to the stunning Caithness coastline, which are ideal for hiking. Thurso and the north coast are a 35-minute drive from the property. From here you can catch a ferry to the Orkney Islands. The famous Yarrows Archaeological trail is located 2 miles away. We can provide a set menu with 24 hrs notice
