Wick River Campsite is a stunning base on the banks of the Wick, offering campers sheltered and peaceful plots a handy 10-minute stroll from the shops, pubs, and restaurants in Wick. The town is a great place to start your sightseeing, with the Wick Heritage Centre, the Pulteney Distillery, and boat trips where one can bob among the sea stacks and cliffs to spot an assortment of marine life, including seals and puffins. Wander along the coast to explore the ruins of the Castle of Old Wick, Girnigoe Castle, and the magnificent stone creations at Hill O’ Many Stanes.
