About
Seatoller House is a beautiful guest house 8 miles south of Keswick at the head of Borrowdale. It is 400 years old and has been a guest house for over 100 years. The house prides itself on its friendly welcome, an informal atmosphere and good home cooked food. It is an excellent centre for exploring the Lake District and is popular with walkers, and those who want immediate access to the lakes & fells. The dining room has two large traditional oak tables creating a friendly atmosphere where guests are served a set meal at 7pm (excluding Wednesdays). Breakfast is a relaxed affair at 8am, with a range of choices. There are 10 bedrooms all with private bathrooms, a large award winning garden surrounding the house and ample private car parking. Guests receive a warm welcome from managers Nigel and Trisha Dixon. Trisha has lived in the valley most of her life and with Nigel seeks to source local produce of great quality for all the home cooked food they produce.
