The Magpies Restaurant with Rooms is over two hundred years old and converted from three cottages. Owned by Caroline and Andrew Gilbert for sixteen years. We have three luxury en-suite bedrooms with modern large shower/bathrooms. Chef Andrew likes to use mainly locally sourced high quality produce. 'The Magpies' is situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the old market town of Horncastle which is also famous for its antique centers and independent shops. Magpies offers Lunch on Wednesday Thursday Friday and Sunday. Dinner from Wednesday to Sunday and Afternoon Tea on Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday. Magpies is perfect for small intimate fine dining for two or for larger groups of family and friends. We have wine tasting evenings twice yearly and the Restaurant is also open for Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Lunch and New Year's Eve Dinner. Closed between 400-600pm and all day Monday & Tuesday
