Cambrian Heritage Railways Ltd (CHR) is a volunteer lead charity with the mission statement: “Securing the restoration of the Cambrian Railways in order to preserve the unique Railway Heritage of Oswestry and to provide a visitor attraction of national significance.” We run two separated railways. One at Llynclys and the other at Oswestry. We are a Heritage Railway based in the centre of Oswestry, Shropshire. Running steam and diesel trains to Weston Wharf and the adjacent Stonehouse Brewery with Weston Pools Village close by. Operating Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays, we also operate Charter Trains and Special Hire Trains. We also operate special events during the year including Easter & Santa Trains. Come along and visit an award winning Heritage Railway.
