The Leyland Arms is one of the few remaining true country pubs with a real country pub attitude. The Leyland Arms exists primarily to keep the local community together and to provide a social center for those within Llanelidan.A warm welcome also awaits anyone who wishes to visit us and experience our hospitality whether on holiday or working on business.The Leyland Arms occupies a prime position in the picturesque village of Llanelidan, and has always provided a warm and re-assuring feeling of welcome for over several hundred years.The Church of Saint Elidan is a building of both historical and architectural interest, it shares pride of place with the beautiful church of Saint Elidan adjacent to the village hall; which was previously the school. Overlooking the village cricket pitch, the Clwydian Mountain Range in the background affords the pub a natural source of shelter.The entrance to the Leyland Arms is through the courtyard behind the main building. Once inside the building the ceiling beams and wood burning fire provide a complementary setting for the small, well stocked, bar.The food is both great quality and good value. The items on the concise but varied menu are all prepared and cooked on the premises by the landlord, Steve Nicolopulo, to excellent standards. All produce is sourced from local suppliers wherever possible and served up in portion sizes not for the faint hearted.
