Recently and extensively renovated, the Bay Horse is a 17th-century pub and B&B ageing from 17th Century. Located just a stone's throw from the Micklegate Bar, we are in an ideal location for York City Centre. The Pub area hosts classic real ales and a large selection of Draught Beers/Ciders & Lagers. We also have Happy Hour Cocktail menu and a selection of hand chosen wines to accompany any Bar Snack or meal. Food is served Monday-Saturday with a focus on British Gastro Cuisine created using high quality local sourced produce. Our chef is innovative and highly experienced with a palette that caters for this GastroPub. Regular chef specials keeps our seasonal menus alive. The Guest Accommodation is full of character! Our rooms are cosy and comfortable with many hosting character features such as beams and old fireplaces. The small windows to the front really show the age of the building. The range of rooms that we offer include large deluxe en-suites, standard en-suites and one Economy Room with external private bathroom. This helps us to cater to all budgets or needs!
