Here at The Jug & Bottle we are passionate about our shop. It's been alikened to "Harrods of the North" or a Northern Fortnum & Mason. We strive to find "different" things. From a love of gin with a large selection for you to browse through to an amazing chocolate cabinet that is ever growing in popularity! Wonderful breads, cheese, pastries and lots and lots of cakes. You'll find a treat for yourself without doubt. We have giftware and jarred goods along with hampers and greeting cards. And from the Covid years we adapted our business to encompass a section of basic groceries, medicines and fresh fruit & veg. We have an outside seating area for sandwiches and cakes to be consumed with hot/cold drinks bought from us if you're passing by or out dog/walking or cycling Christmas is our peak time with so much to choose from in foods and gifts
