This fine country pub on the village green is set in a lovely 17th-century Grade II-listed building, with friendly, welcoming staff. We have up to four cask ales on rotation including seasonal and promotional beers. We also serve wholesome home cooked food, available everyday lunchtimes and evenings. The comfortable interior features timber ceiling and pillars, real fires, a 19th-century carved oak bar and tranquil beer garden. Our little patch of heaven located on the picturesque village green, Accessible from York by bus or rail.
