City Screen is located in the heart of York, on the main shopping street, overlooking the River Ouse, and is easily accessible by public transport. With its spectacular setting, our licensed bar and café-restaurant is the ideal place to relax and enjoy anything from a cup of tea to a full meal. Our standard range of coffee is organic and fair trade. Our gourmet coffees are also fair trade, and are sourced direct from the growers, so will generally be organic. We serve three real ales from local breweries in our bar, and a glorious selection of wines from Bibendum. In addition to our teas, coffees and soft and alcoholic drinks, our diverse and inspired food menu has helped to generate City Screen’s reputation as one of York's most appealing venues at any time of the day.
