The Spotted Ox is situated in the Historic Village of Tockwith site of The Battle of York (Marston Moor) during the English Civil War and the site of the Air Crash of a mk 4 Stirling Bomber (LJ622) from the RAF Airfield situated in the Village. The Pub Serving Traditional Home Cooked Food from Tuesday to Sunday. The Spotted Ox has recently undergone a refurbishment both internally and externally and has a landscaped Beer Garden with Giant Chess available during the warmer months. We are a Dog Friendly Pub. A Cask Marquee Certificate of Excellence has just been awarded to The Spotted Ox.
