The Grossarltal is also known as the Valley of Mountain Huts due to its density of mountain huts. In summer, about 40 farmed mountain huts and 400 km of sign-posted hiking paths invite for hiking and mountaineering. But also mountain bikers, nature lovers and connoisseurs will find their paradise here. In winter, the Grossarltal is dedicated to skiing - skiing on the Grosarltal-Dorfgastein ski area, in Ski amade - Austria's greatest skiing pleasure. In addition, there are numerous offers off the slopes, such as ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing or wellness.
