Our Seetal has existed since 1972, originally built and run by the family of Hermann Kammerlander as a 30-bed guesthouse. The uncle of your current host, Mr. Lechner, was able to fulfill his own personal vision with one of the first indoor pools in the Ziller Valley. Mr. Andreas Lechner is a master cheese-maker and took over his father's cheesery in Stumm im Zillertal in 1982. Mrs. Gabriele Lechner graduated from a school of hotel management and, until she got married to Mr. Lechner, ran, together with her siblings, her parents' business in Gerlos. On May 1, 1992, the Lechner Family took over the Seetal Guesthouse in Kaltenbach. After numerous remodelings and additions, the Lechner Family has managed to create a family El Dorado for big and small, with a 20 000 m² adventure & play park, petting zoo, climbing tower and much more. The Seetal features 120 beds in comfortable double rooms, junior studios, apartments and suites. We are really looking Forward to welcome you in our Hotel.
