The Brugse Gin Club Gin Bar & Store (BGC - Bruges Gin Club) offers the largest selection of gins in Bruges and the wide surroundings. Over 500 different gins are served in a small bar hidden in the heart of the historic centre between the Fish Market and the Botanic Gardens. The bar is only open during weekends from Friday to Sunday from 6pm and during school holidays. Owner-ginologist Edward welcomes you in the cozyiness of his kitchen and provides you with a personalized table service. If you get in, that is, because the door is closed and knocking is obligatory. The bar can accomodate only 20-odd patrons and strictly operates on a first come, first seated principe. Bookings are not accepted. Locals as well as visitors from all over the world come to the bar to escape the rush of touristic Bruges and relax in the laid back atmosphere garnished with classic and contemporary jazz.
