De Ultieme Hallucinatie
About
Beautifully integrated into Paul Hamesse's work by Fred Dericks in 1981, "De Ultieme Hallucinatie" Brasserie-restaurant offers its visitors a delicious, authentic Belgian cuisine, entirely prepared on site. In the original and luminous setting of the former garden of the Hotel Cohn Donnay, sit down in a tramway from the beginning of the 20th century to enjoy one of the 30 Belgian beers selected by the house. The wine cellar is not worth less attention, skilfully integrated in the basement of the Hôtel, it houses, alongside classic French and Italian wines, a few gems of organic Belgian viticulture that age peacefully in the company of the greatest Trappist beers in our regions. Even the benches of the brasserie are worth a visit, they were designed by Henri Van de Velde, the other great name of Art Nouveau, for the Belgian railways in the “Belle époque”.
