A magical return back to relive the holidays experienced by our grandparents. The memory department, meanwhile, will awaken your imagination or your cultural and industrial memories through the highlights of Saint-Ghislain life traced through postcards, archives, ... A visit of one hour allows you to make an historical overview of Saint-Ghislain and the region thanks to a 10 'introductory film, a timeline (8m long) featuring the great facts of local history. Didactic panels present associative life, businesses and industries often missing. Finally, showcases highlight pieces of faience, porcelain, terracotta produced in the entity. The visit is guided. The museum also has a documentation center of nearly 5,000 pieces available on request. Also open the first Sunday of the month from 14:00 to 18:00.
