Kobas is a village situated on the east side of Peljesac, in the Ston channel, 20 nm from the Aci marina Dubrovnik-Komolac. Our Taverna is decorated in Robinson Crusoe style, and attracts sailors from all around the world, mostly sailing chartered boats, private yachts, gullets. Long peer of 50 meters equipped with 14 moorings, lazy lines, offers secured anchorage, minimal depth is 2.00 meters up to 3,5 meters. The bay is situated north east, so protected from all but winds not from the bura which is much more common during the winter when the taverna is closed. Kobas` nature is wild and not polluted by any kind, there are dozens of natural springs, the sea water is perfectly clear and fresh and provides a perfect temperature to cool down during hot summer days. The idea of the taverna and service is the invention of our grand fathers and mothers, still after more then 30 years we work together as a third generation. We continue the tradition of cooking, fishing, olive oil production and wine making. The taverna offer cuisine, simple fresh food with natural ingredients from traditional recipes. We keep shell fish, Ston oysters, lobsters, which live in the baskets in sea. Daily menus change with what we catch, colured with various white, rose and red wines. Seasonal vegetables grown in the gardens, refreshes each meal.
