The 4-star Hotel Apoksiomen is a small, intimate boutique hotel located directly on the seaside promenade of the picturesque lagoon of Mali Lošinj. It was named after the famous sculpture of a bronze Greek athlete, which lay on the bottom sea for thousands of years until it was discovered in the immediate vicinity of Lošinj in the year 1996. After the great engagement of the local community, the Museum of Apoksiomen with the statue as its only exhibit was founded in Mali Lošinj.
