On the road from Vodnjan to Bale lies the church of St. Francis of Assisi. It was built in 13th century. The interior of the church was decorated with frescoes, which are presently visible only in traces. Not far from the church is Kažuna Park, an example of specific and characteristic architecture of Vodnjan area.
