"Have you ever wondered why we're called La Fontana? Our home got it's name from the spring Funtana that existed a century ago. This spring was more than just a water source; it was the lifeblood of the community. In those days, Funtana served as a hub for both practical and social purposes. It was a place where women would gather to wash clothes, sharing stories and laughter as they worked. Farmers would bring their cattle to quench their thirst, and the townsfolk would store wine in its cool, underground chambers, making it a natural wine cellar. As the years passed, Funtana's importance remained etched in the memories of the locals. When we established La Fontana, we wanted to pay homage to this vital part of Medulin's history. We saw the connection between Funtana's role as a gathering place for the community and our mission to provide a space for people to come together, enjoy delicious food, and create cherished memories.
