The remains of massive walls was built in the technique opus mixtum which you can see inside of some of the rooms. The Cardo building was part of the late Renaissance extension of the D' Augubio Palace, which is the seat of one of the most respectable families in 15th century. Antique and archeological remains, hand-made brick floors, Gothic stained-glass windows, hand-made oak furniture are just some of the attractions of this unique hotel.
