Hrad Hněvín is a stunning Neo-Gothic castle located in the Czech town of Most. The original structure dates back to the 13th century, and the hill itself has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Today, the castle stands as a late 19th-century replica, serving as a significant cultural and historical landmark. A popular tourist destination, Hrad Hněvín hosts a variety of cultural and sporting events, as well as weddings. The garden offers ample seating, natural shade, and a charming café that is open during the season (April to September). The lookout tower provides breathtaking views of the Most Basin, the Ore Mountains, and stretches as far as the Bohemian Central Highlands. The tower is open daily year-round, from 9 AM to 6 PM. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovation and is set to reopen in spring 2025. The castle's boutique hotel is also being renovated, with its grand opening planned for 2026.
