The Renaissance four-winged water castle from the 16th century was built on the site of the original manor house - a water fortress, which stood here before 1368. Over the years, the castle underwent several reconstructions, which gave the castle its present appearance. At present, the castle is used for many cultural purposes of the village Dřevohostice. As part of the tour, you can also visit the firefighting museum located in the historical fortification of the castle, which is open at the same time as the main castle building. NOTE that the opening hours on tuesday-saturday are only for july and august. Other that that we are open only on sundays and only in may, june and september.
